Bear Witness

Modern War Poetry was founded as a subsection of The Poet's Forum after September 11th, 2001 to bear witness to the events of the new war on terror. Since then, the number of submissions has grown in number and in focus. MWP serves to catalog and publish this emerging genre for current and future generations.

Poets submit their work to the editors for publication, and the MWP forums help to analyze and discuss the works.

Modern War Poetry makes no profit, and poets retain full copyright of their works. If you wish to donate to Modern War Poetry, please send email to the editor.
